What do you attribute your success to?
Two things come to mind when I think about my "success"...First is my openness to a faith journey and being genuinely curious about what the future can hold, knowing that I don't have to understand everything to trust that things all work out for the good. Second, is a like it, it's being open and connected to the people around me. They have shaped my knowledge, how I see my capacity to give and have quite literally walked the path with me.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Could you be even 1% wrong?!
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Get comfortable with being uncomfortable. This industry is constantly changing and there is always opportunity for growth and new perspectives. If that sounds interesting and exciting, then higher education is a great place to build a career!
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The question of "Is College Worth it". We are at a transformative time in history to really ask the question and find unique solutions to the answer (YES)!
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
My ability to maintain strong, authentic relationships, both personally and professionally, has been absolutely crucial to any success I've achieved. I've always prioritized building and nurturing these connections, and I am convinced that the foundation of any meaningful achievement lies in the integrity and support of those relationships, never compromising them for short-term gains or specific outcomes.
