About Liz
Liz Richardson specializes in business development and client relations within the security industry. With almost 20 years in sales across various industries, she began her career as a sales representative for an ADT authorized dealer. She advanced to assistant manager and then branch manager, building her team from two sales representatives to 26. She also developed an entire CRM system for a luxury transportation company supporting up to nearly 100 users. Liz recently relocated to the Raleigh, North Carolina area. She earned her bachelor's degree in business approximately one year ago and is now finishing her MBA at the University of Phoenix. She attributes her success to God, herself, and her two children, with a career path driven by her passion for helping others. Liz values purpose over a paycheck, authentic relationships, service, growth, faith, family, and integrity. She recently became an ambassador on the sponsorship team for the Reset Community, a nonprofit, where she educates others about the organization and its upcoming events.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I would attribute my success to God, myself, and my children by far. My career path has been driven by helping others and my two children.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Get to know what her purpose is, truly figure that out by growing closer to God and getting plugged into your community. Figure out what you're passionate about, what gives you joy, write it down, and find a way to take that passion and purpose and solve a problem for somebody. And then you just don't stop.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest opportunities come from talking to different people in natural conversation where opportunities are created. Challenges arise when you run into a situation where you can't help, but I lean big on my faith.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Purpose over a paycheck is one of my biggest values. Authentic relationships are very important. Service is another big important value. Growth is very important. Faith and family are two of my biggest. Integrity, purpose over pay are all the core of who I am.
