What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to being intentional, purpose-driven, and deeply committed to empowering others. I believe that consistency, strong communication, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to combine strategy with creativity are what allow my clients to experience real transformation. Earlier this year, my husband and I officially launched Brightside Builders, but my background in consulting and strategic planning spans several years of hands-on work with small business owners. My passion for helping entrepreneurs gain clarity and direction is what ultimately led me to this field.
My primary expertise lies in business consulting, branding, and helping small businesses develop their identity through strategy and design thinking. I specialize in guiding entrepreneurs to clarify their mission, build cohesive brand systems, and create digital presences that align with their long-term business goals.
One of my most notable professional achievements was helping a 20-year-old business owner completely transform her company. From reimagining her branding and building her online presence to restructuring her pricing, it was incredibly rewarding to watch her step into confidence and professionalism. Seeing that transformation unfold made all the effort worthwhile.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received has come from the incredible women entrepreneurs and peers I’ve met in local business communities. Their mentorship has provided inspiration, accountability, and strategic guidance, which gave me the confidence to successfully launch and scale my consulting work.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to believe in your ideas, seek out mentors, and stay committed to continuous learning. Embrace networking, trust the process, and don’t be intimidated by starting small—clarity and confidence often come from taking action.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges I see in my field is the overwhelm many new entrepreneurs experience when trying to articulate their brand story or create a digital presence that truly aligns with their vision. At the same time, there are exciting opportunities: technology is more accessible than ever, the number of women entrepreneurs continues to rise, and there’s growing demand for consultants who don’t just provide advice, but also offer hands-on implementation to help businesses thrive.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important values to me in both my work and personal life are integrity, authenticity, empathy, and purpose. I strive to build businesses that are not only functional but also meaningful, and I prioritize honesty, family, and connection in everything I do. I love spending time with my two young daughters and make intentional family time a priority on weekends. I also enjoy exploring museums, spending time outdoors, and practicing meditation as part of my routine to stay grounded, balanced, and creative.
