Her Story
About Lizbeth
Lizbeth Tavarez has spent a decade building a career in the fitness industry, currently serving as a studio manager, general manager, and sales professional across multiple locations in the Houston area. In this leadership role, she trains front desk staff and coaches on sales techniques and role-playing exercises, teaching them to listen closely to members so they can recommend the right memberships and support each person's fitness goals. Her approach to leadership centers on building up the people around her, fostering a family-like culture where team members feel motivated both at work and in their personal lives.
Before stepping into the fitness world, Lizbeth worked at Xfinity while raising her two children as a single mother. Searching for a healthier lifestyle that could keep pace with her kids, she discovered Orange Theory Fitness, a decision that ultimately reshaped her career and gave her the work-life balance she had been missing. That transition became a turning point, allowing her to grow from a sales associate into her current position as studio manager, all while proving to herself and her children that determination pays off.
Guided by the values of time, respect, and integrity, Lizbeth views every challenge as an opportunity to mentor others and model perseverance for her children. She credits her family, particularly her children and her mother's unwavering support, as the driving force behind her achievements. Looking ahead, she hopes to expand her expertise in sales training beyond the fitness industry, empowering people in other fields the same way she has empowered her own team.
