Her Interview
Ten minutes with Lizeth
01What do you attribute your success to?
The trust from the executive director who gave me the opportunity despite coming from another country with English not being my first language. He trusted my skills and abilities, which gives me the confidence to keep going, keep learning, and just do the work.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Just try. Trust in yourself and keep working on yourself. Even if it looks like you're not doing anything, little by little, step by step, you will build something bigger. If you don't trust in yourself, nobody's gonna trust in you.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Stepping into another industry could be challenging, but if you love what you do and keep growing and learning, it couldn't be that challenging.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty is the main thing. If you're honest and build that with your team, family, and all areas of life, you can do multiple things. Hard work, loving what you do, being passionate about your work and the people you work with, and the same in all areas of life.
