About Lizzi
Lizzi Videtta is a fitness professional with six and a half years of experience in the industry. She serves as a Personal Training Lead at Lifetime Chestnut Hill, where she has been one of the leaders for the past three years. Her responsibilities include training clients ranging from rehab to body composition to athletic performance, serving as a nutrition coach and Pilates instructor, handling new member connectivity, conducting new hire one-on-ones, training trainers on biomechanics and science-based approaches, outsourcing educational opportunities with local physicians and physical therapists, and assisting with overall business management and systems organization. Videtta originally started in the equestrian field as a professional riding and selling horses before a back injury during competition led her to pivot. While in high school, she earned an electrical and mechanical engineering degree. Finding a personal trainer at Lifetime Westwood who rehabbed her back through functional fitness, Pilates, and proper nutrition inspired her career change to help others achieve similar results.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Lizzi
01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be afraid to just throw spaghetti at the wall. Try things out. It doesn't matter if you fail, because you'll learn faster by failing. Just do it.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Overload of information. Everybody has a solution for their body. Instead of copying and pasting someone else's method, understand what your body needs. Follow three pillars: Move 10K steps every day, get 7-9 hours of sleep, eat whole foods.
