Q

What do you attribute your success to?

Hard work. Because, like I mentioned, I am a very insecure person. I have, like, imposter syndrome, so just putting in the work and doing it anyways, and being constant, and being responsible. More than even more than talent, just putting in the work.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Even though you're scared and you think there's something you cannot do when it's, like, out of your reach or out of your expertise, just go for it, because you might surprise yourself.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would say just try and learn as much as possible, even though you get into a job that you don't like that much, just try and absorb as much as you can. Even if it's a work where you have to wear many hats, just try and learn as much as you can from your peers, from everybody, because knowing the whole spectrum of the work that you're doing, knowing how everything works, then gives you a much better foundation and you're more prepared for everything afterwards. Sometimes I've had to do jobs that don't even have to do with design, I just had to do it in the beginning, and it's helped me a lot.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I would say the biggest challenge at the moment is AI, because we are very unsure how that's gonna take over what I do at the moment. Fortunately, my company is a bit skeptic about using AI at the moment, but it is like a challenge, but at the same time, it gives you an opportunity because you gotta keep on learning all the time, so just getting into it, trying to learn a bit about it and work with it. I feel like it's a challenge and it's an opportunity at the same time.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Responsibility. Just if you say you're gonna be doing something, and you commit to something, just do it. Doesn't matter how long it takes, you need to work after hours, whatever, just do it, because people are relying on you.
