Ten minutes with Lolah

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would attribute my success to my Mother who loved real estate and had vision for growth in areas like Vinings. My husband who is an Attorney here in the Atlanta area is also an inspiration. You have to have the drive to win! I have to be strong for my family. I have A son, daughter and 4 amazing grand children. I am Leader in my inudstry and love making an impact in this Beautiful town.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Never give up! Dont take NO for answer! Keep a positive attitude as positivity is contagious!

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice would be to work hard. You have to work at your craft, study and learning. You can never learn enough. Network within your communities, churches, sports, within the schools. Don't be afraid, don't get discouraged. If you hear a no, there's 3 yeses around the corner. Keep trucking and not let any setbacks discourage you! Be grateful for all have a received and always give back!

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Biggest challenges are people getting discouraged about interest rates right now. Rates go up and they come down, its just a snap shot in time. You have to see the big picture. I encourage new agents to ,keep learning, finding your niche, and set the proper expectations with sellers and buyers. Also embrace technology as it is moving at a fast pace and those that do not, will be left behind. On the opportunities side, Atlanta is blowing up with new construction and development, relocating executives for companies, tax benefits, and live-work-play neighborhoods.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I value "Making Dreams Come True"! It brings me joy when a family gets their dream home or sells for a profit! Personally, I enjoy the time I have a with my family and enjoy traveling!
