About Loreine
I spend my days at my customer's site where my role is to maintain the customers I have, grow accounts through organic sales, and do prospecting to find new customers. Within my role, I do project management and inventory management. My role is really to build relationships with customers to maintain the account, and whatever it takes - that means checking contract terms, invoices, and on-site systems. Because I'm a chemical engineer and I do water treatment, we have treatments that we implement at customer sites, and my role is to make sure that whatever treatment we implement provides whatever desired benefit it was supposed to provide to the customer. I have worked for two different companies over my 15-year career - 6 years with my previous company and 9 years with my current company. My most notable achievement is that I was able to transition effectively from Canada to the U.S. four years ago without any gap in performance or adjustment. The culture is quite different, and I had to adapt from a place where I was speaking French most of the time to fully English, which is quite different, even the work cultures. I was able to do that switch without losing any customers, and since I have been here, I have never lost any business and have been able to continue to succeed on my accounts with more than 10% growth. I am in the middle of my career with a couple of years to go, and I am in the season where I want to move up into a more C-suite level executive management position.
