Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to being fearless and staying open to opportunities, even the ones I didn’t initially expect. By stepping into new experiences, I’ve been able to build meaningful relationships and continuously grow, both personally and professionally.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I received was to expand the size and scope of the organization I worked in. Moving from a smaller hospital setting to the headquarters of a larger system gave me a broader perspective and strengthened my credibility. It allowed me to better understand and connect with both executives and physicians.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I encourage young women to be fearless and open to opportunities, even when they feel unfamiliar or outside their comfort zone. Growth often comes from stepping into larger roles and environments that stretch your perspective. It’s also important to value every voice, foster inclusivity, and build strong relationships. Trust yourself, embrace new opportunities, and take ownership of your future.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the greatest opportunities I see is in developing younger leaders and encouraging them to take ownership of their future. At the same time, there are ongoing challenges in balancing professional demands with personal life, which makes strong leadership development even more important.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Inclusivity is a core value for me. I believe in listening to everyone, not just those in leadership roles. Being present, showing respect, and recognizing the contributions of individuals at every level are essential to creating a positive and effective environment.
