Her Story
About Lori
Lori Goodspeed serves as the Community Engagement Coordinator for Children's Actions Alliance, where she works with kinship families, and as co-chair of the Central Arizona Kinship Coalition, bringing together organizations to share resources and advocate for families. She recently launched Good Sea Virtual Operations (GVO), providing coordination services to nonprofits such as a dental coalition and the Opportunity Passport program, which helps youth aging out of foster care save for assets. Having aged out of foster care herself, Lori draws on her experiences to pursue mentorship and empowerment speaking in Title I schools. Her professional journey includes serving as an administrative assistant in the House of Representatives, advancing to support Representative Quante Cruz, and earning recognition as one of the most requested assistants. She holds a high school diploma, an associate's degree, a life coach certification, and a certification in child and family organizations management and administration. Lori is also involved with organizations including Dress for Success, the Women's Foundation for the State of Arizona, Boost a Family, St. Vincent de Paul, and the Salvation Army.
