Her Story
About Lori
I am a corporate support, philanthropy, and business development leader with over two decades of experience helping nonprofits, associations, and purpose-driven organizations achieve their development and revenue goals, currently serving as Founder and CEO of Growth Owl, LLC, a role I have held since June 2018, where I provide corporate support, philanthropy, and sponsorship strategies to sustain organizational growth, connect corporate DEI and sustainability leaders with organizations to help them fulfill their initiatives, and provide consulting in business development, corporate support, coaching, communications, and training.
Prior to founding Growth Owl, I served as Director of Corporate Support for Broadcast and Digital at ideastream for over seven years, where I led an eight-member account staff and secured broadcast corporate support revenue from Fortune 500 companies, achieving over fifteen percent average year-over-year revenue growth since 2011 and managing a three-million-dollar-plus corporate support revenue line that continually exceeded expectations. I also served as Adjunct Professor of Communications and Public Relations at Baldwin Wallace University for over eight years, as Director of Digital Accounts at DAC Group for nearly three years, and as Director of Interactive Media at Clear Channel Radio for three years.
I hold an MBA in Systems Management and a Bachelor's degree in English from Baldwin Wallace University, where I was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta, WBWC Radio, Grindstone Yearbook, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Order of Omega.
Across my career in corporate support, philanthropy, and business development, my work has been driven by a commitment to building strategic partnerships, driving revenue growth, and helping organizations achieve their missions through innovative development and communication strategies. Whether I am consulting with nonprofits, leading corporate support teams, or teaching the next generation of communications professionals, I bring a strategic mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and a dedication to creating lasting impact. I am proud of the work I have done throughout my career and excited to continue helping organizations grow and thrive through Growth Owl, LLC.
