About Lori

Lori Lesniak is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Notaries On Wheels LLC, a mobile notary and apostille service focused on accessibility for clients in homes, hospitals, nursing facilities, and correctional institutions. Her work ensures people can complete essential documents despite mobility, health, or transportation challenges.

With degrees in Business Administration and Nursing from Mount Aloysius College, she combines healthcare awareness with business leadership to provide precise, reliable service. The company was created after recognizing how many individuals and facilities struggled to access notarizations, and was built to remove those barriers by meeting people where they are.

Honoring her paraplegic business partner, the name reflects both mobility and inclusion. Over three years, the company has earned a reputation for reliability and growing expansion interest. Named a 2026 Pennsylvania Influential Woman, Lori leads with a focus on accessibility, mentorship, and community-driven entrepreneurship.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Lori

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to genuinely wanting to help people and solving real problems they face every day. I pay attention to where systems fail individuals, then build practical solutions that make difficult moments easier. I’ve also learned the value of mentorship and listening to those with more experience while still trusting my own judgment. Most importantly, consistency, integrity, and working smarter—not harder—have allowed steady, sustainable growth.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received was to build relationships before you need them. People remember how you make them feel, especially in service-based businesses, and trust often opens more doors than marketing alone. I’ve also learned that consistency matters more than perfection — showing up every day creates long-term growth.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Seek out a mentor you genuinely respect and learn as much as you can from their experience. Ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully, and absorb the guidance they offer. Then use that knowledge as a foundation to confidently build your own path.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in the notary field is awareness. Many people still do not realize how critical proper notarization is or how accessible it can be when services come directly to them. This often means we meet clients during stressful or time-sensitive moments, so maintaining accuracy, compliance, and professionalism while also providing reassurance is essential.

At the same time, that challenge creates a meaningful opportunity. As industries evolve and populations age, there is a growing need for mobile, flexible, and trustworthy services that meet people where they are whether at home, in a medical facility, or in a professional setting. The opportunity lies in elevating the role of the notary from a transaction to a trusted resource, helping individuals and organizations navigate important decisions with confidence.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Service, accessibility, and respect guide everything I do. I believe in meeting people where they are, supporting my community, and doing work that genuinely helps someone move forward. I also value being thoughtful and practical — working smarter, staying organized, and making sure the way I work creates trust and consistency for the people who rely on me.
