Lori Lesniak
Lori Lesniak is the Managing Partner and Co-Owner of Notaries On Wheels LLC, a mobile notary and apostille service dedicated to bringing professional notarization directly to clients in homes, hospitals, nursing facilities, and correctional institutions. Her work is centered on accessibility ensuring individuals can complete essential documents regardless of mobility, health, or transportation challenges. With a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management and Operations, and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Mount Aloysius College, Lori combines healthcare knowledge with business acumen to provide precise, reliable, and client-focused notary services. The company was created after recognizing a consistent gap in access by individuals, families, and facilities who required notarizations but could not easily travel. Notaries On Wheels LLC was built to remove those barriers by meeting people where they are, reducing stress during important moments, and supporting institutions that serve vulnerable populations. The name itself reflects both mobility and purpose, honoring her business partner, who is a paraplegic, and reinforcing the mission of service and inclusion. Over the past three years, her company has built a reputation for reliability and quality, and Lori has received multiple inquiries about potential expansion and franchising opportunities. Lori’s professional philosophy centers on working smarter, not harder, and helping people directly through her work. She values mentorship, actively encourages aspiring professionals to seek guidance from experienced leaders, and demonstrates that combining initiative with thoughtful planning can lead to meaningful business success. Recognized as one of Influential Women representing Pennsylvania for 2026, Lori continues to lead with a focus on community impact, accessibility, and entrepreneurial growth.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute much of my success to a genuine desire to help people. I find fulfillment in solving real problems for others, and that purpose has always been a strong personal motivator. I have also always been naturally driven and resilient. Growing up with two older brothers encouraged a healthy sense of competitiveness and determination, which helped shape my work ethic and willingness to keep moving forward.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best advice I've ever received was to focus on solving real problems for people and the business will follow. When you prioritize service, consistency, and integrity, growth becomes a natural result rather than the goal itself.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Seek out a mentor you genuinely respect and learn as much as you can from their experience. Ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully, and absorb the guidance they offer. Then use that knowledge as a foundation to confidently build your own path.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in the notary field is awareness. Many people still do not realize how critical proper notarization is or how accessible it can be when services come directly to them. This often means we meet clients during stressful or time-sensitive moments, so maintaining accuracy, compliance, and professionalism while also providing reassurance is essential.
At the same time, that challenge creates a meaningful opportunity. As industries evolve and populations age, there is a growing need for mobile, flexible, and trustworthy services that meet people where they are whether at home, in a medical facility, or in a professional setting. The opportunity lies in elevating the role of the notary from a transaction to a trusted resource, helping individuals and organizations navigate important decisions with confidence.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Service, accessibility, and respect guide everything I do. I believe in meeting people where they are, supporting my community, and doing work that genuinely helps someone move forward. I also value being thoughtful and practical — working smarter, staying organized, and making sure the way I work creates trust and consistency for the people who rely on me.
