About Lori
Lori Morgan serves as Senior Electrical and Controls Engineer for Kimberly Clark in their pulp and paper manufacturing operations. She has been with the organization for 10 years, initially joining as an intern in an E and I technician role where she worked on machine installation and became the first female in any maintenance position at the facility. After two years, she transitioned into an electrical engineering role, followed by a lead electrical role, and now holds her current senior position, achieving this advancement in half the time of previous transitions and as the first female in a senior electrical role at the site. Morgan holds a patent for through-air drying cleaning showers, a system designed to clean the inner side of drying rolls in tissue manufacturing. Beyond her technical work, she serves on the board of Women in Technology of Tulsa as event chair, focusing on connecting women in technology, engineering, and manufacturing through events and programs, and she is a member of the Society of Women Engineers.
