Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the diverse experiences I’ve gained over the past 15 years—working across industries from medical administration to the bankruptcy court system. Each role has added something unique to my skill set and shaped how I approach my work today. Over the years, I’ve received several sales awards—seven plaques, to be exact—but what matters most to me is perseverance. I’ve walked through difficult seasons, and through it all, my faith has kept me grounded and focused. This year, I took a leap of faith and launched my own business, 3 and Me LLC, a virtual assistant and coaching company. As a certified Christian life coach, my dream is to move into this work full-time. It allows me to combine my professional skills with my true calling—to help and encourage others while creating flexibility and balance in my own life.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Stay faithful over the little things. Excellence doesn't always come with applause—but it always makes a difference. Treat every task, every conversation, every opportunity like it matters—because it does. Your consistency is your brand. Also, don’t be afraid to pivot. If your path puts something new on your heart—like starting a business, going back to school, or helping your community—follow that nudge. Your journey doesn’t have to look like anyone else's.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don’t wait until everything is perfect to start. Start with what you have, where you are, and trust that God will provide the rest. Too many of us hold back because we think we’re not ready or we don’t have enough. But the truth is, you grow by moving forward—even if it’s one small step at a time. Protect your peace. Not every opportunity is meant for you, and not every voice deserves your energy. Learn to discern what's aligned with your purpose and let go of what isn’t. Be kind to yourself. We’re often our own harshest critics. Celebrate your progress, even the quiet wins. Rest when you need to. Speak life over yourself. You’re doing better than you think. And finally—never underestimate the power of your story. You’ve been through things for a reason. Someone needs to hear what you’ve overcome so they can believe they’ll overcome too.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced is learning to stay steady in the middle of uncertainty—especially in fast-paced roles where things change constantly. Tariffs, supply chain disruptions, tight deadlines—those are external challenges. But the real battle is working hybrid staying motivated, keeping your integrity, and showing up every day with purpose, even when no one’s watching.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My core values are faith and integrity. Beyond my career and launching my business, I stay deeply involved in community outreach. I work with SWIRL Ministry, which serves homeless women and communities in need, and I founded a support group called Breath of Hope, which meets twice a month at the House of Hope Worship Center. It’s a safe, confidential space where women can pray together, find healing, and support one another through life’s toughest battles. To me, service isn’t something you add on—it’s part of who you are. These ministries are close to my heart and reflect my journey of leaning on faith through adversity.
