Lorie Hopkins Brown

Lorie Hopkins Brown has dedicated 38 years to pastoral ministry, beginning with evangelism, prison ministry, street ministry, nursing home ministry, and campus ministry at Grambling State University where she led a prayer and fasting band that saw thousands of young people accept Christ. She founded Liberty Christian Center West in 2014 in Ruston, Louisiana, serving as its senior pastor along with locations in Arcadia and Monroe before returning to the main pastoral staff during building renovations. As a business entrepreneur, she oversees DC's Design, a general contracting firm specializing in home building, renovations, and commercial projects in Ruston, and Shalom Properties LLC, which manages apartments and builds and sells houses. She earned her THD in Theology from Evangel Christian University of America after approximately four years of study following her graduation from Grambling State University in 1993. Lorie attributes her success to her faith in the Lord and continues to teach Bible study and lead an online prayer room every Thursday.
