Lorie Reynolds is an experienced EMR Applications Trainer and Consultant with a strong background in healthcare and medical training. Currently with Provisions Group, she specializes in implementing and training staff on electronic medical records systems, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance in clinical settings. Lorie combines her technical expertise with hands-on experience from her previous roles, including nearly six years as a Surgical Medical Assistant at a Dermatology & Skin Cancer Surgery Center, where she developed proficiency in medical terminology, EMR training, and patient care.
With an educational foundation from North Central Texas College, Lorie holds an Associate of Applied Science in Registered Nursing and an Associate of Science in General Studies. My nursing background laid the foundation, and my dedication to education and empowering healthcare teams has allowed me to thrive in the intersection of patient care and healthcare technology.

My advice to young women entering this industry is to stay resilient and embrace your unique journey—every experience, even stepping away for family, builds strength and perspective. Keep learning, stay curious, and approach every challenge with preparation, professionalism, and confidence—you’ve earned your place at the table.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge in healthcare technology is the competitive nature of securing new contracts, which requires demonstrated expertise and professionalism. At the same time, this fast-evolving field offers tremendous opportunities for those who remain adaptable, curious, and committed to continuous learning.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are balance, resilience, and continuous growth—being present and giving myself grace while managing both professional and personal responsibilities.
