Lorri Stenton

Lorri Stenton is a professional in prepress production specializing in retouching. She got into the retouching industry by luck when the field opened up and had opportunities there. After being let go from Time, Inc. amid the 2009 magazine industry crisis, she made the decision to fight her way back in out of necessity to support her family, as her husband was not a good moneymaker. Despite her own insecurities about her intelligence, she dug deeper into Photoshop and succeeded. She has faced significant struggles in the male-dominated advertising industry, including zero mentors and pushback from both men and women in the field. Currently freelance and looking for work, she describes herself as a woman of faith who persevered through these challenges.
