About Luciene
Luciene Freire is an author and neuromuscular therapist specializing in the multicultural and health industries. With ten years in health and three years in publishing and consulting, she is publishing her first book on immigrant women in America, which draws from her personal journey of raising a son as a single mother while navigating life between two cultures. She earned an AA in business administration from Mira Costa College in Oceanside, Encinitas, California, followed by a bachelor's and master's in philosophy focusing on metaphysics and consciousness. Her professional certifications include 1,000 hours as a holistic health practitioner, neuromuscular and sports massage therapy, which led to her work with Olympic track and field athletes in Brazil, and meditation teacher training in India. She is affiliated with the International Ministry Association and the National Ministry. Freire attributes her success to determination, persisting through challenges such as single parenthood and career detours, and she advises young women to never give up on their dreams regardless of the time or obstacles involved. Her core values include integrity, good communication, honesty, faith, family, and friendship.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My determination. Even when facing challenges like becoming a single mom or taking breaks for motherhood, I kept pursuing my dreams of writing and publishing.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't give up on your dreams, even if it takes 20 years, even if you have to stop to do motherhood, even if you have to take a break for whatever reason, even if you have to detour for a moment. My dream has always been to be a writer, and I am only now publishing my first book.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
AI is both a challenge and a great tool/opportunity in the field.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, good communication, honesty in work and life, faith, family, and friendship are most important to me.
