What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges I’ve encountered is adjusting when moving between higher-education and K–12 custodial environments, as each has its own unique demands and culture. At the same time, there’s a significant opportunity to positively impact an institution’s reputation and recruitment efforts through high-quality custodial and grounds work, demonstrating that excellence behind the scenes truly supports overall success.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are dedication, integrity, and a positive attitude. I also enjoy activities like visiting arcades and hiking, which help me recharge and stay balanced.
