Her Story

About Luigina

Luigina Giampietro is a public speaker based in Cheshire, Connecticut, who focuses on educating audiences about family trauma, narcissistic abuse, and the decision to go no contact with family. After earning an undergraduate degree in education and a master's in linguistics, she spent many years as a teacher before working for 14 years in her family's luxury jewelry retail business. Following a recent family incident that led to her firing and a pivot away from the family business, she began sharing her experiences through podcasts and is actively pursuing opportunities in the speaking world to help other women. Giampietro credits her husband and two older sons with providing crucial support during this transition, along with her faith, and she volunteers at Lockett Meadow Farm, a horse sanctuary in Bethany, Connecticut. She advises young women entering the field that they are stronger than they believe and do not know their true strength until they must be strong.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Luigina

01What do you attribute your success to?

My husband and two children. They came to my rescue when I was thrown out of my family's life. I owe 100% to them and God.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

You are so much stronger than you believe. You don't really know how strong you are until you have to be.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Harder for smaller accounts to get noticed by larger ones; need to shoot for the stars and work your way down.
