Her Interview

Ten minutes with Luisa

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to discipline, consistency, and the values that define who I am; humility, empathy, and a genuine passion for serving others. I’ve also been fortunate to have a strong sense of purpose and guidance that has helped me stay grounded and keep moving forward, even in challenging moments.

These values have inspired me to lead philanthropic initiatives within my company, partnering with Philanthropy Network of New York and Long Island Cares to support meaningful volunteer efforts.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I’ve received was from a mentor who told me, “Keep moving.” It stayed with me, especially during the moments that felt uncertain or overwhelming. To me, it means trusting yourself, pushing forward even when it’s hard, and not letting fear stop you. This guidance has shaped the way I approach my work and pursue my goals.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is that it doesn’t matter where you start, it’s about how far you’re willing to go. Focus on your growth, stay determined, and take every opportunity to learn. Don’t be afraid to speak up, trust your voice, and keep pushing forward even when it feels uncomfortable. That’s where real growth happens.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest opportunities in my field is working with the complexity of diverse perspectives and experiences. It pushes me to lead with empathy, truly listen, and create environments where people feel seen and valued.

When you balance that human connection with business needs, you create stronger, high-performing teams.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that matter most to me, both professionally and personally, are integrity, respect, and empathy. I believe in doing the right thing, even when it’s not the easiest path, and in honoring my commitments.

I also believe in treating people with fairness and genuine respect. To me, how you show up for others, how you listen, support, and lead, matters just as much as the results you achieve.
