Her Interview

Ten minutes with Lynda

01What do you attribute your success to?

Hard work. Thinking creatively. Good writing skills. And an ability to put my client's interests in the forefront to figure out how to achieve their goals.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

I was fortunate in that my late father was a brilliant attorney. I just grew up seeing that. Having that as a role model and inspiration and seeing in action the things that he did was more important than any piece of advice that someone might have given me along the way.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be prepared to work hard. And what you get out of it is what you put into it.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The challenges are that the work that I do is often time sensitive. And the issues are often deeply personal to the clients. So things that have to be done well and done quickly, and done strategically.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty. Integrity. Dedication.
