She studied graphic design at Santa Fe College and also served as a guest instructor in TV production and journalism photography, reflecting her longstanding interest in creativity, communication, and visual storytelling.

Lynda is the founder and creator of The Keepsake Tools, a developing collection of books, letters, practical resources, and meaningful keepsakes designed to help people prepare for, preserve, and remember important moments and stories. Her current projects include El Regalo del Adiós / The Gift of Goodbye, The Keepsake Letters, and practical life-organization tools. She has also written the bilingual book Be Good With Goodbye, which explores themes of hope and love during difficult life transitions. Her work is deeply influenced by personal experience, including the loss of her husband, and her desire to support families and inspire others through challenging periods of change.

Throughout her professional journey, Lynda has embraced lifelong learning and continued to develop her skills in technology and artificial intelligence, earning three certificates in computers and AI. 01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to determination, consistency, and a willingness to keep going even when things get difficult. I believe in doing everything with love and respect—for myself and for others—while always learning from what works and what doesn’t. Knowing when to persevere and when to let go has also been an important part of my growth.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received is that it’s never too late to pursue a new opportunity, learn something new, or make a change.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the industry is to do your research, but don’t get stuck waiting for the perfect plan. Take the step, try new things, and be willing to take calculated risks. You may discover a path that isn’t right for you, or you may find that you’re capable of more than you imagined. Either way, you learn by taking action, so don’t be afraid to try.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Faith is the most important value in my work and personal life. I strive to treat others with respect, honor boundaries, and always do what is right. I believe in acting with integrity and making sure my actions do not harm others.
