About Dr. Lynesha
Dr. Lynesha Sweeney, DBA, MBA-PM, PMP, CSPHP, is a results-driven strategic and project management professional with over 12 years of experience leading healthcare operations, clinical engineering initiatives, and cross-functional program delivery. At TRIMEDX, she serves as an Implementation Manager, overseeing enterprise-wide healthcare technology deployments, mentoring teams, and driving continuous improvement processes that enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Dr. Lyn excels at aligning multidisciplinary teams, converting complex programs into actionable plans, and supporting the adoption of innovative solutions across healthcare environments.
A passionate advocate for STEM education, Dr. Lyn has dedicated significant time to the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), serving in leadership roles such as STEM Festival Program Director and TORCH Chairperson. Through these positions, she has promoted science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to children and underrepresented communities, developing programs and metrics to maximize impact and foster the next generation of engineers and innovators.
Dr. Lyn’s expertise spans strategic planning, program and project management, continuous improvement, and training and education. She holds a Doctor of Business Administration with a focus on Strategy and Innovation, an MBA in Project Management, and certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP)® and Certified Strategic Planning for Healthcare Professionals (CSPHP). Her leadership combines technical proficiency with a commitment to mentorship, community engagement, and building scalable solutions that drive both business success and social impact.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a combination of focus, education, networking, and determination. Staying committed to my goals, continuously learning, building meaningful connections, and persevering through challenges have all played a key role in my journey.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to be the change I want to see, because transformation doesn't come from titles, but tenacity. I’ve also been reminded to think through every decision carefully and to step up as a leader whenever the opportunity arises.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Project Management is more than managing tasks-It's about stewarding trust, leading with clarity, and building systems that empower people. To the young women entering my industry, sharpen your strategy by getting involved with professional groups, seeking mentorship, and becoming a mentor to others. Honor YOUR voice, and never underestimate the power of preparation.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
As a new business, one of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—in my field right now is expanding awareness and building connections with more companies/small teams, and individuals. We're working to secure funding and to demonstrate the value we can bring to teams and operations across industries and disciplines.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
As a professional with strong ties to the healthcare industry, I lead with integrity, clarity, and compassion. I believe in building systems that make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around me.
