Her Interview

Ten minutes with Lynn

01What do you attribute your success to?

My mom would tell you, because if you tell me I can't do it, I'm gonna keep doing it. I think the fact that I find satisfaction in it. I've always found that I've worked with people, I've enjoyed working with, I've enjoyed patients I've taken care of. And professional and personal satisfaction in what I've done. I've always seemed to go back to school at the right time. And I've had a family that supported me doing that. And I just feel very blessed that it just always seemed to fall right.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

One of them is you just never take your work home. Try to avoid taking your work home. You need to separate work from home. Work-life balance is basically what it was. And never, never stop learning. And try something new. Don't always look for something. If you're getting feel like you're getting stagnant in a job, look for a new one. Don't just keep doing the same thing over and over.
