About Lynn
Lynn Light is a chef, culinary instructor, pastry chef, and baking specialist with more than 20 years of experience across culinary education, higher education, and food service operations. She currently serves as Chef and Culinary Instructor at Tiffin Community Kitchen in Tiffin, Ohio, where she teaches a variety of culinary classes including baking and basic cooking, both privately and through the community. She also works as Pastry Chef at Heidelberg University, creating desserts and breads for campus dining while specializing in allergen-friendly options. Her professional background includes executive chef, sous chef, and pastry chef roles, as well as experience in casual dining, fine dining, and catering. Light holds a high school diploma with honors and is currently enrolled in an online culinary program through Escoffier. She maintains ServSafe certification and a management certificate. In addition to her roles in higher education and community programs, she operates a personal baking business and engages in community work through the non-profit Tiffin Community Kitchen, including classes with court systems, hospitals, and other local organizations.
