About Lynne
Lynne Stout brings more than 16 years of experience in human resources to her work, including nearly 16 years with the City of Columbus. In that role she focused on helping employees understand their benefits, managing contractual benefits, and assisting with unionization efforts as a member of management. Stout returned to higher education later in life, earning an associate's degree from Ohio Dominican after balancing studies with raising three young children. She is now preparing to pursue a bachelor's degree at Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio, demonstrating her commitment to ongoing professional development. Currently seeking new positions in human resources, Stout values the job satisfaction that comes from supporting others in their employment and stresses the importance of empathy and continuous learning.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Go to school and be empathetic. You never know what someone else is going through. Be empathetic and try to understand, and educate yourself.
