About Lynnsey
I began my professional journey in real estate in 2008, never imagining it would become my career path despite growing up in a family of entrepreneurs who owned hair salons, jewelry stores, and restaurants. Over 18 years, I built a successful real estate career, specializing in new construction and even winning Sales Team of the Year at the Obie Awards in Georgia in 2023 with my business partner. We were also featured on a TV show from 2022 to 2023. About a year ago, I transitioned to the risk management and insurance side, but I continue to focus on serving the real estate and construction industries. Today, I work with business owners on their risk management programs and business insurance, helping them implement systems and strategies to minimize risk and support their growth. What I find most rewarding is walking alongside business owners as a resource and partner, allowing them to focus on what they do best while I handle the complexities of risk management and insurance. My goal is to raise awareness about the importance of proper risk management programs and to be a true partner for companies, not just someone who writes a policy.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say find a mentor that you feel like mirrors your style, or somebody that you look up to that is at a level that you might want to get to someday. Look for someone who is close in personality to you, or maybe not, and just ask if they can mentor you. Take notes and expose yourself to all the things that they're doing. Find good people that will mentor you, because having the right mentor can make all the difference in your career journey.
