Her Interview
Ten minutes with Lynzi
01What do you attribute your success to?
I had kids really young. I had a kid at 14 and 16, the only thing I thought was, I have to do this by myself, and for myself, and there's nothing else that anyone can do to get me there except for my resilience, my drive, and my ideas. I really give credit to myself. Especially because I'm a statistic. A statistic that never should have made it.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Just start slow. Don't think that you need everything just right then and there. You don't need to have everything just thrown into an office and open up shop. You're ready now. It's just go slow. You can build things as you go, you can collect things as you go. You might not even have a dollar to your name, but maybe you can make a good deal with the leaser. There's so many different ways that you can do it and just start slow.
