About Mackenzie
Mackenzie Moore has been working in victim services and related fields for 11 or 12 years. She currently serves as a case manager at Torticity, where she supports survivors of sexual violence who experienced abuse in juvenile detention by guiding them through mass tort claims, questionnaires, narratives, and impact statements. Two years ago, she founded her own consulting company, through which she offers training, public speaking, and psychoeducation to promote trauma-informed practices and better collaboration among agencies serving survivors. Moore's path began with a human rights course in college that sparked her interest in sex trafficking, leading her to volunteer at Turnaround in Baltimore, Maryland, as a hotline advocate and SANE advocate. She later worked at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children analyzing reports, answered calls at the National Human Trafficking Hotline, and managed domestic violence shelter programs including hotlines, court advocacy, and case management. In addition to her professional roles, Moore coaches a club lacrosse team and has spent five years volunteering to teach English online to students in Taiwan.
