What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute some of my success to a determined and resilient mindset, as a result of my parents, my childhood environment, and the adult work I’ve done with other professionals, to dream big and go after whatever it is you imagine, intentionally and intuitively. Along with a passion for helping others feel empowered enough to life a life they are more than satisfied with through inspiration, support, and education.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to never be the smartest in the room.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Learn how to listen to your inner voice and don’t be afraid to speak up when things don’t feel right.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges and opportunities in my field right now is the juxtaposition of well-being and a manufacturing environment. It can be challenging at times but is a wonderful and welcomed challenge.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both work and personal life are intentional quality time focused on the task at hand, the activity I am doing, or the individual I am with, authenticity and vulnerability. Being myself and sharing the highs and the lows, the good and the challenging is important to me to help connect with and inspire others.
