Madeline Evarts

Madeline Evarts serves as a process engineer at Tower Semiconductor, a foundry that manufactures semiconductor wafers for various customers. In this role, she focuses on the chemical aspects of chip production, troubleshooting process problems and communicating solutions to operators, maintenance teams, upper management, and customers. Her work emphasizes finding solutions that balance cost-effectiveness and time-effectiveness amid differing opinions on approaches. Evarts recently transitioned from academia after earning her PhD in organic synthesis from the University of Texas at Austin in May of this year. During her graduate studies, she published five or six papers, including original research and reviews in the field of organic chemistry. She values clear communication across teams with varying levels of education and experience, recognizing the critical contributions of all staff members to facility operations.
