About Madeline

I began my career in sports broadcasting three years ago when I made history as the first female sideline reporter at Archbishop Moeller High School in Cincinnati, an all-boys high school, where I covered their football team. I've remained dedicated to this field throughout my entire career. Currently, I'm in my second year at the University of Alabama, pursuing a degree in news media with a concentration in sports. For the past few months, I've been serving as sports director for WVU AFM, where I balance my academic responsibilities with my professional duties. On a typical day, I attend classes and then spend about two and a half to three hours in the office, where I handle a variety of responsibilities including securing credentials for my staff members to attend sports games, scheduling hiring meetings, and editing and publishing both articles and podcast episodes on our website. My most significant professional achievement to date has been reporting on the SEC men's basketball tournament this past weekend in my role as sports director.
