I attribute my success to hands-on experience across a wide range of event types—sports, hotels, weddings, and even HOA events—which helped me become versatile and confident in my field. Having a strong mentor like Liz Riviera (Party With Liz) who trusts and relies on me has also been instrumental in building my confidence and refining my skills.

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to love what you do so it never feels like work, and to always stay adaptable, open-minded, flexible, and focused on truly understanding and serving the client’s needs.

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in the event industry in Arizona right now is the lack of mid-level roles—most positions are either entry-level or require senior-level experience, making it tough to grow steadily. Additionally, many events don’t offer long-term opportunities or pay enough to match the cost of living, and there's often limited feedback during the hiring process, which makes career progression more difficult.

The values most important to me in both work and life are reliability, calmness under pressure, and maintaining a positive, uplifting attitude—leading with kindness, taking ownership of my actions, and always striving to see the greater good in every situation.
