Her dedication to understanding each organization’s unique goals ensures her solutions are practical, measurable, and impactful. After graduating from Ohio University in 2021 with two bachelor’s degrees, including coursework in business administration and marketing, Maddie launched her career with roles including Benefit Systems Administrator and Business Analyst at Willis Howard Watson, as well as patient-facing positions at TriHealth and the Good Samaritan Women’s Center. What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the support and encouragement of my family and loved ones. While I pursue my goals for my own growth, their motivation and inspiration drive me to keep striving for excellence.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is that you don’t need to be understood by everyone. It reminded me to stay true to my vision and values, even if not everyone agrees or sees things the same way.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering my industry to take it one day at a time, embrace lifelong learning, and absorb as much knowledge as possible. Then, align what you learn with your goals while maintaining a healthy work/life balance.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge in my field right now is encouraging people to embrace telehealth and see a doctor virtually, rather than relying solely on in-person visits. At the same time, this shift presents a significant opportunity to expand access to care and make healthcare more convenient for patients.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are empathy, compassion, integrity, responsiveness, awareness, engagement, and self-alignment. I also prioritize achieving harmony between mind, body, and life, striving for full integration in everything I do.
