Madhumita Banerjee

Madhumita Banerjee brings more than 26 years of professional experience to her role in global commercial operations at Moody's. Her career began with a graduation in biochemistry followed by a degree in software programming, which led her into technology. She spent approximately 17 years at J.P. Morgan, holding various positions across technology, risk, control, and compliance. In 2022 she joined Moody's, a credit rating agency, initially overseeing the anti-money laundering framework in Asia for two years. She then assumed responsibility for global commercial operations and relocated to New York, where she has been based at headquarters since July of the prior year. Banerjee earned an MBA in finance in 2005. Earlier in her career she contributed to the United Women's Association in Singapore for five to six years, coaching and guiding young women from underprivileged backgrounds.
