Her Interview
Ten minutes with Madhuri
01What do you attribute your success to?
Hard work, honesty
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I received from women executive leaders was to not notice differences, believe that you belong at the table, and that your voice needs to be heard because you are equally qualified. Once I started doing that, it substantially changed how I presented myself and how I earned the voice at the executive table.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Stay extremely customer-focused. Think of the customer first, regardless of the role. See how your contribution can generate value for the end customer. If you keep the customers in mind and are always willing to learn, you will reach success.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
AI is disrupting a lot without clear understanding of impact on P&L. Many AI solutions are adopted but organizations recognize the impact on margins only after several months or a year, which may be too late. Keep an eye on AI costs and understand the impact on your bottom line.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Transparency, honesty, hard word
