Her Story

About Madi

Madi Majecki is a respected leader in the factoring industry whose career exemplifies growth through hard work, adaptability, and hands-on experience. She began her journey in 2010 while attending night school, taking a full-time position in the mailroom at Triumph for Carriers with little understanding of what factoring was. Determined to learn, she immersed herself in every aspect of the business, moving between departments, supporting special projects, and gaining experience across a wide range of operational functions. Over the course of more than 15 years, she built a comprehensive understanding of the industry from the ground up, ultimately earning her promotion to Vice President of Account Resolution. Throughout her career, Madi has developed a reputation for leading teams through change and transforming underperforming operations into high-performing organizations. Her expertise lies in operational excellence, process improvement, performance management, and business scalability. Frequently entrusted with departments facing significant challenges, she has successfully identified inefficiencies, implemented sustainable solutions, and guided teams through complex transitions. Her ability to combine strategic thinking with practical execution has made her a trusted leader known for driving results while fostering strong, collaborative workplace cultures. Beyond her executive responsibilities, Madi is deeply committed to the future of the factoring profession. She serves on the NEXGEN Committee of the International Factoring Association, where she helps cultivate the next generation of industry leaders through networking, mentorship, and professional development initiatives. She also earned her Certified Account Executive in Factoring (CAEF) designation, reflecting her dedication to continued learning and industry excellence. Outside of work, Madi is a devoted mother of three young children and an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, camping, snowboarding, and traveling with her family. Her career and personal life are guided by a commitment to perseverance, continuous growth, and creating meaningful opportunities for others to succeed.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Madi

01What do you attribute your success to?

I've been really lucky to have some great female mentors throughout my career. There's been a group of female executives who have helped guide and support me through the various changes I've experienced since I decided I wanted to grow professionally and pursue leadership opportunities. Having that network of mentors, colleagues, and friends has made a huge difference in helping me get to where I am today. As for personal strengths, I'm very determined. If I see a problem, I want to fix it, and it's hard for me to stop thinking about it until the problem is fixed. I think that persistence has been one of the biggest factors in my success. Combined with having a strong support system around me, it's helped me continue moving forward and overcoming challenges along the way.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

If you keep going, it gets better. It's hard, and it's a struggle, and whenever you're trying to grow or move forward in your career, you're going to go up and down a hundred times. Failing is part of the process, so don't let failure deter you from what you want to do with your life. Continue to be persistent. A failure isn't really a failure unless you allow it to be. It's an opportunity, so continue to keep going and keep trying. Be confident in who you are, the voice you have. Confidence and humility will take you far.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The transportation factoring industry has been on a roller coaster ride the past several years, in 2020 the market was best its ever been, followed by the greatest slow down in a decade. In 2026 the market has started to increase again and while we had some downtime to get things in order, we’re now focused on growth. Becoming more profitable brings both challenges and opportunities but mainly excitement for what the future looks like in transportation factoring.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me are honesty, integrity, and humility. I believe in treating others with respect, doing the right thing even when no one is watching, and thriving on the fact that I will never be the smartest person in the room, because of my love for continuous learning. I also value spending quality time with my family and working hard for what I have. Every moment you have in this life is a gift, take everything you can from every moment you have.
