About Madison

Madison Bambrick serves as an Associate on the investor relations team at Brasa Capital Management, a real estate private equity firm. In this role she assists the founder, IR team, and managing director with managing the data room, reaching out to new investors, and taking on front-facing responsibilities ahead of the launch of Fund 4. She brings approximately five years of experience in private equity. Prior to joining Brasa Capital Management nearly eight months ago, Madison spent about four years at KKR. She began there as an executive assistant floater in the founder's office in Menlo Park and was promoted within six months to open the firm's Los Angeles office specializing in real estate private equity, both credit and equity. Her path into the industry started with a real estate internship that led to work at a real estate-focused law firm and then to executive assistant positions. Madison earned her bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in Chicana Studies from UC Davis after completing two years at Santa Barbara City College. She also holds certifications as a notary and in good manufacturing practice training from prior work in quality systems at a pharmaceutical company. Outside her primary responsibilities, Madison values relationship building and has participated in mentorship for young women and interns as well as volunteering at an epilepsy camp.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Never put too much pressure on yourself when starting off your career. Really do something that you're passionate about. Try a million different things, don't be afraid to fail, but also hone in on relationships. Ask questions, reach out to people, never be afraid to put yourself out there. You always meet people twice, so be aware of every interaction as it represents your own brand.
