About Maggie

Maggie Bellucci is a Territory SLED Mid-Market Account Executive at Abnormal AI, where she partners with state and local government agencies, higher education institutions, and K-12 school districts across Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma to deliver AI-powered cybersecurity solutions. Specializing in behavioral AI and email security, she takes a consultative approach to helping organizations strengthen their cybersecurity posture against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. With nearly five years of experience in technology sales, Maggie is recognized for building trusted client relationships, understanding complex customer needs, and delivering strategic solutions that create long-term value.

Before transitioning into the technology sector, Maggie built a successful culinary career, working as a chef de partie in a Michelin three-star restaurant before earning her Bachelor of Business Administration degree and pursuing a career in technology sales. She began her technology career at CDW, supporting K-12 educational organizations and quickly established herself as a top-performing sales professional. Her achievements earned her numerous internal recognitions, including the Q4 Ohio Valley Team MVP Award, the CDW SLED Sales Academy MVP Award, and additional top performer honors. Committed to continuous professional growth, she has expanded her expertise through industry certifications in Microsoft 365 Copilot and persuasive selling while remaining actively involved in organizations that support women and emerging leaders in technology.

Bellucci attributes her success to the unwavering support of her family, mentors, colleagues, and professional network, as well as her commitment to authenticity, continuous learning, and servant leadership. She believes that meaningful partnerships are built by listening first, understanding each client's unique challenges, and focusing on solutions rather than transactions. Passionate about mentoring others, she encourages young women entering the technology industry to overcome imposter syndrome, recognize the value they bring, and confidently pursue new opportunities. Outside of her professional career, Maggie enjoys cooking and supports community food initiatives, including preparing meals for children and assisting local food pantries, reflecting her dedication to service both personally and professionally.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Maggie

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the support and encouragement of my family, friends, mentors, professional community, and the network I've built throughout my career. The personal brand I've developed, along with the trust and guidance of both previous and current employers, has helped shape my professional growth. I also believe that serving others and maintaining genuine relationships has been a driving force behind my success.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've received is to stay calm and be present. Before reacting to a difficult situation, I take a moment to understand it fully, remain authentic, and respond thoughtfully. Taking a deep breath before difficult conversations helps me stay grounded, focused, and communicate more effectively.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would encourage young women to overcome imposter syndrome and recognize that they have earned their place through hard work and perseverance. Believe in your abilities, continue planting the seeds through dedication and continuous learning, and trust that your efforts will produce results. Don't be afraid to ask questions, embrace opportunities, and build meaningful relationships along the way.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in SLED cybersecurity sales is working within limited government budgets while addressing increasingly sophisticated cybersecurity threats. The greatest opportunity lies in building long-term, trusted partnerships by understanding each organization's unique needs rather than focusing solely on transactional sales. Helping organizations navigate complex security challenges through a consultative approach creates lasting value for everyone involved.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I value community, authenticity, service, patience, and meaningful relationships. I believe in listening first, remaining present, treating people with respect, and focusing on helping others succeed. Building trust through transparency, empathy, and genuine partnership is the foundation of both my professional and personal life.
