About Maggie
I come from a journalism and communications and editorial background. I was an intern at a couple different publications in college. My first job out of school was as an editorial assistant at a trade magazine for the wine spirits beverage alcohol industry. I learned how the industry works and how it dovetails with hospitality. I made the switch into PR and marketing at agencies specialized in the field, working with fine wine brands and restaurant brands. I bounced around a couple different agencies in New York City working on dynamic global luxury premium spirits, wine, travel, resort, and hospitality brands. Now I'm an Account Director at Savona Communications where I've been for 5 years.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Remember that you are already so inherently capable, and you've already achieved so much to put yourself through school and be successful. Just believe in yourself and be your number one advocate. Always keep that at the forefront and remind people of your worth and your value, and never give up.
