About Maghan
Maghan Pifer brings 14 years of experience in the medical field to her current specialization in electrophysiology, where she has worked for the past 4 years. Her responsibilities include performing device checks on pacemakers and defibrillators, conducting annual appointments, wound checks following implants, initiating remote monitoring, and responding to patient emergencies such as defibrillator shocks. Before entering electrophysiology, she gained experience in nephrology, a spine and pain clinic, and the GI lab in Louisiana. Pifer values punctuality and thoroughness in her care for primarily geriatric patients and is committed to investigating any unknowns during appointments. She advises that no question is a dumb question and encourages attention to hands-on experience from seasoned professionals over strict adherence to written guidelines alone.

Going by the book is great. But pay attention to the elders that have more experience. Because sometimes people that write the books have never put their hands on something.
