Makayla Price serves as an instructional designer in the learning and development department at Town Square, where she develops training content for a platform used by HOAs and housing developments, supporting both business accounting and community functions. Her path into this field began after earning a master's degree in educational leadership from the University of North Texas in 2021, building on her prior decade as an English teacher and her experience developing curriculum at EverCommerce, where she created an online LMS platform. At Town Square, Price contributes to building a new learning and development program from the ground up alongside a creative team. She maintains professional affiliations with the Council for Learning and Development and ASOCIA, engaging in their philanthropic initiatives, and is currently collaborating on a psychological piece about workplace relationships as well as an article titled Establishing a Culture for Organizational Learning and Collaborative Development, which has been accepted for publication in the Performance Improvement Journal.
