Mallika Pothukuchi

Mallika Pothukuchi serves as a Principal Machine Learning Engineer, where she designs, builds, and implements large language models in the generative AI space. Her work includes creating AI companions for sales and customer success teams to provide a 360-degree view of customer needs and enable better interactions. With nearly 17 years in IT, she began her career as a big data developer experienced in Java and Python, later transitioning into machine learning engineering about eight years ago after delivering multiple high-volume data projects. She holds a master's degree in computer science and a bachelor's degree in statistics, math, and computer science, which supports her proficiency in data science models. Mallika maintains AWS architect and developer certifications as well as multiple certifications from deeplearning.ai. She is a senior IEEE member and affiliated with Sigma Xi. In addition to her professional role, she mentors a team of machine learning engineers and DevOps professionals, and she volunteers with a non-profit focused on helping seniors with aphasia by developing an AI-powered app for memory and language support in collaboration with her daughter.
