What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to building strong relationships, staying consistent, and always being willing to learn and grow. I’ve always believed that leadership is about supporting the people around you, creating a positive culture, and helping teams feel confident and successful. I also think adaptability and maintaining a strong work ethic have played a big role in my growth throughout my career.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received came early in my career from a manager named Joan. She led with compassion and built strong relationships with her team in a way that made people genuinely excited to work alongside her and follow her leadership. Watching the impact she had showed me that strong leadership is not just about results — it’s about how you treat people, how you support them, and the culture you create. That experience shaped the way I lead today and reinforced the importance of investing in people, building trust, and helping teams grow together.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would tell young women entering this industry to focus on building strong relationships, staying positive, and supporting the people around them. I’ve learned that leadership is not about being the loudest person in the room, it’s about how you make people feel and the trust you build with your team.
When people know you genuinely care about them and want to see them succeed, it creates stronger relationships, better teamwork, and a more positive environment for everyone. I truly believe a big part of my success has come from investing in people, encouraging growth, and creating teams that support one another.
I also strongly believe that real leadership is helping people grow into positions they once thought were out of reach.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in healthcare and dental operations right now is keeping up with the fast pace of growth while still maintaining a strong team culture and a great patient experience. Offices are expected to operate efficiently, adapt quickly, and continue delivering high-quality care, all while navigating staffing challenges and increasing operational demands.
At the same time, I think there’s a huge opportunity for organizations that truly invest in their people. Teams perform best when they feel supported, valued, and connected to the culture around them. I also think technology and process improvements are creating opportunities for offices to work smarter and provide a more seamless experience for both patients and team members.
What excites me most about the industry is the ability to make a real impact through leadership. Strong leadership can completely transform a team, improve the patient experience, and create an environment where people genuinely enjoy coming to work and growing professionally.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are hard work, consistency, positivity, and the way you treat people. I believe working hard does not end when you leave the office — it carries into every part of your life through the effort you put into your relationships, your goals, and the way you support others.
I also value integrity and building strong relationships. I try to lead with kindness, stay dependable, and create a positive environment for the people around me. I believe when you consistently show up for others and genuinely care about helping people succeed, it creates trust and lasting impact both professionally and personally.
