Known for her ability to build strong relationships and cultivate meaningful connections, she has become a trusted partner for both university stakeholders and external clients.

Mallory’s career in college athletics revenue generation spans a year and a half. She began as an intern for a corporate America company contracted through universities across the U.S. When a predecessor left, she stepped into the role, quickly taking on responsibilities overseeing ticket sales and group experiences. Her success there led to a transfer to a larger program at SMU, where she now drives high-impact sales initiatives while leveraging her marketing background and strong relationship-building skills.

Prior to her work in collegiate athletics, Mallory gained experience in marketing and digital strategy, which she continues to apply in her current role. She holds a degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and combines her passion for sports with a results-driven approach to revenue growth. Through her dedication, professionalism, and ability to connect with people, Mallory has made a meaningful impact on both the fan experience and the university’s athletic success.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

Networking, for sure. And I would say networking and relationship building. The more people that are in your back pocket, the better off you are. I'm really big on how I measure success through personal brand and through networking. I'm super young in my career, so getting my name out there and building those relationships has been key to everything I've accomplished so far.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

I think the best career advice that I have ever received would be know you're good at what you do, and just keep doing what you've been taught. That's the best thing. Because I think that goes with kind of being self-confident. I struggle with it too, and my boss has been like, hey, know you're good at your job, and keep doing what you're doing. And just be where your feet are. I love that line, be where your feet are. I always have that written everywhere.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Keep your head down, keep working, and it's okay to be told no. I think a lot of it is self-confidence, which I think is a struggle with women overall, and I just think it's important that women understand that, like, hey, even if you work in male-dominated fields, or wherever you work for, like, you are able to make it, you are able to empower, and that's really it.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

I think a lot of it is self-confidence, which I think is a struggle with women overall. I just think it's important that women understand that even if you work in male-dominated fields, or wherever you work, you are able to make it, you are able to empower, and that's really it. It's about believing in yourself and knowing that you belong in these spaces.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I think integrity is a good one, respect, and being authentic. These kind of go hand-in-hand, because I do use a lot of my professional values with my personal. I think it's okay to be authentic. So I think that's my top 3: having respect, having integrity, and then just being yourself.
