Her Story
About Mallory
Mallory Olfers serves as a Peer Coach specializing in recovery and mental wellness, a role she has held for about 5 years in San Antonio, Texas. Her career path began with positions in sales, office management, and customer relations. After achieving sobriety 6 years ago on October 31st, she entered the recovery field, starting as a receptionist at the local recovery high school before advancing to peer coach and then program coordinator for young adults. Following a company restructure, she coached adults and is now preparing to launch a new position developing programs for teens and young adults. Throughout her journey, Mallory has volunteered by sponsoring people in women's rehab, planning conferences, and organizing camping trips. She remains committed to lifelong learning, with plans to return to school, possibly pursuing real estate or becoming a master licensed social worker, and aims to reduce stigma around recovery and mental wellness by creating supportive spaces for those in need.
