About Manasi
Manasi Khanuja is a Product Manager at Meta, where she has spent the past five years building products that power the company's ads infrastructure. Her work has spanned capacity planning, attribution, and ad serving platforms, with a focus on developing scalable, AI-driven infrastructure that enables reliable, high-performing advertising systems. Before joining Meta, Manasi worked in service program management at Barclays Bank, where she helped ensure the reliability and service quality of corporate banking platforms for enterprise customers. She earned her Master's in Information Management Systems from the University of California, Berkeley, concentrating on product management and data science after completing her undergraduate studies in India.
Driven by a passion for solving complex technical challenges, Manasi enjoys bringing together cross-functional teams to build products that create meaningful business impact. She believes in leading with intellectual honesty, dedication, respect, and ensuring every stakeholder has an equal voice in the product development process. Beyond her technical contributions, she is deeply committed to empowering women in technology through mentorship, leadership development, and guidance for students pursuing international education. Inspired by the advice from Lean In to ask, "What would you do if you were not afraid?", she encourages others to pursue opportunities with confidence and authenticity. She credits much of her success to her parents, whose encouragement to work hard and embrace new opportunities laid the foundation for her career.
Outside of work, Manasi enjoys staying active through hiking and long-distance running, completing half marathons each year. One of her favorite races was the Avenue of the Giants Half Marathon in Northern California, where running beneath the towering redwoods created an unforgettable experience. Whether she's building infrastructure that supports billions of users, mentoring the next generation of women leaders, or exploring scenic trails, Manasi approaches every endeavor with curiosity, resilience, and a commitment to continuous growth.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success primarily to my parents. My mom always pushed me to work super hard, not be afraid, and never be limited by anything. My dad ensured I had all the right opportunities available to me.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I received is from Sheryl Sandberg in her book Lean In: 'What would you do if you were not afraid?' This resonates because there is no limit to innovation and success.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be afraid to go achieve your potential and just go build the best version of yourself because you're worth it and you can do it.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is ensuring you are always developing state-of-the-art solutions that will be valued in the industry, keeping up with the best, and delivering high-quality products despite constraints.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
In work: intellectual honesty, knowing the ins and outs of systems, sincerity, dedication, and ensuring cross-functional partners have an equal seat at the table. In personal life: working hard, being honest, and being extremely respectful to everyone around you.
