Mandi Susman, CCP, is a seasoned Total Rewards executive with over 25 years of experience in compensation and benefits management. Passionate about helping people and sharing her knowledge, Mandi has built a career focused on developing and administering effective programs that support employees and their families in a competitive and cost-effective way. She currently leads the Total Rewards function at the Girl Scouts of the USA, overseeing compensation, benefits, HRIS, payroll, and data analytics, following a successful tenure as Executive Director of Compensation & Benefits at the Wildlife Conservation Society, where she supported over 5,000 employees across 60 countries.

Throughout her career, Mandi has demonstrated strong leadership and a commitment to excellence, having held key roles at McGraw-Hill Education, the Natural Resources Defense Council, and JL Board Advisors. She has consistently driven initiatives to ensure fair and strategic compensation practices, implement innovative HR technologies, and provide competitive market data for organizations spanning multiple countries. Her dedication extends beyond her professional work to mentoring and volunteerism, including over 22 years as a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City and leadership roles with the Van Cortlandt Track Club.

My advice to young women entering this industry is simple: don’t give up, stay curious, and keep pushing forward even when challenges arise.

The values most important to me in my work and personal life are dedication, perseverance, and community—both in my professional endeavors and as a runner and active member of my track club.
